Details
Made primarily from the winery’s star variety, the Garnacha (60% and from 40 year-old vineyards) along with a fair amount of Tempranillo (40% and from vines planted 30 years ago).
The wine appears clean and bright, and an intense ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose it discloses an aroma of high intensity, revealing spicy, toasty and high roast wafts mingling with fruit notes evoking ripe, jammy fruits. Smooth, full and harmonious on entry, well-integrated tannins come through on the palate, with a full aftertaste.
Aged for 9 months in American and French oak barrels, with a further period of aging in bottle.
